Light of Life
Taken outside of the magnificent St Martin's Cathedral, while looking out upon the magical Trafalgar Square, you can feel in this artwork two of London’s great temples.
In the background we can see the magnificent National Gallery of London - in which are held among the greatest treasures of all human history. William Turner, Leonardo Da Vinci, John Constable, Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Van Gough, Monet and Raphael. All these great expressions of human awareness, those whose work captured many epochs of history, reflecting deep human truth, all within the same building.
This is a temple built by and for the great lovers of our shared humanity. Those who seek and express the light of all life.
The true temple is of course the Temple within, and this piece also points toward that simple eternal truth.
Every soul ever born is pure light. The mind may forget this, but that light is still within us. I hope this artwork will inspire a moment to truly honour your own light. The light of your love. The true way of life.
