St Bernard SOLD
Charcoal, watercolor paint, and collage (paper taken from an old Welsh Bible). The water used was gathered from the well itself.
The well in Pembrokeshire was once a popular stop-off place for pilgrims and there was a chapel nearby. The well is now almost lost from view, little more than a muddy corner of a farmyard. This water color with charcoal and collage was painted using water from the well itself and is one of a series of 30 such images of holy wells in Wales.
