Description:
This sculpture shows a diorama sized model isolated and trapped inside a translucent capsule, and then trapped again inside the sculpture. The artist has taken medication for years without being truly aware of the side effects that they had on her until she did her own research. The figure is still standing tall and strong in the face of adversity, trapped inside the cycle of taking medication, albeit using her strength as a womxn, as a person, to look beyond what she was told and seek alternatives.
