Description: Gin Cove looking out across the Atlantic at early evening towards Baggy Point, a National Trust protected piece of coastline. Gin Cove, touching on the history of this point on the South West Coastal path. Smugglers and wreckers were commonplace once where now surfers and sunseekers play and the expansive bay that Gin Cove is a small part of, saw countless shipwrecks. It is the incredible shimmer of the setting sun across the rock strata that drew me to this view. The wonderful wandering lines of the layers of rock twisted by natures massive power, seem to move this time of day as the infinite planes fill with colour.
