Description of Artwork: My ‘Pain Fossils’ play with the ambiguous sense of space that taking medication puts the patient in, also reiterating the clear stigmas attached to invisible disabilities. As mentioned in other works, the topic of side effects from pain medication is very delicate and very real in my daily lived experience. The piece is very delicate and thin. The resin is rippled with expression as an aftermath of a headache.
